Abstract :
A new class of dual mode filters consisting of cylindrical waveguide cavities loaded with perfect conducting cylindrical resonator are introduced. A 4 pole dual mode elliptic function filter was designed, constructed and tested. Excellent filter frequency response with wide band spurious performance is obtained.
