Abstract :
The advent of more efficient modeling techniques are making "substrate-aware" design verification possible for larger and larger circuits. We have demonstrated that a particular CAD methodology can be effectively applied to substrate crosstalk analysis for a number of practical circuit design subsystems. Detailed modeling of layout-based noise reduction strategies will enable designers to develop new ways to manage critical coupling problems ensuring a higher level of design reliability.
