Abstract
The Spherical Angle Function (SAF) analysis technique for computing antenna pattern performance, antenna coupling, and radiation hazards (RADHAZ) for antennas operating in complex near-field (NF) scattering environments is presented and discussed. The SAF-based modules GEMTOT and GEMCUPL of GEMTECH´s General ElectroMagnetic Suite of NF scattering and coupling codes known as GEMSUITE are described, and illustrative examples and model validations are discussed.
