Abstract :
A method for calculation of the electrodynamic characteristics of superconducting open resonators is proposed and realized. The method is used for the calculation of the spectrum, Q-factor and field distribution of the excited oscillation types in two-mirror superconducting confocal open resonators with cylindrical mirrors made from copper and superconducting materials. Theoretical results are confirmed by experimental investigations carried out in the millimeter-wave band using the automatic complex.
