Adaptive gas turbine control using a singular system approach

In this paper adaptive control of a simulated three shaft gas turbine is considered. For the model used it is shown that a previously proposed adaptive control scheme for generalised state space (or singular) systems can be applied. Standard adaptive methods are also applicable and the performance of a one step ahead predictive control approach is also studied.
