Abstract :
A printed rectangular monopole antenna for circular polarization is proposed. By simulations, the relationships of antenna geometrical parameters and the axial ratio of circularly polarized wave are clarified. Moreover, the calculated return loss and axial ratio are compared with measured results. The calculated and measured bandwidths (the return loss ≤-10dB with axial ratio ≤3dB) are approximately 53% and 60%, respectively.
