Abstract :
A toroidal cross capacitor of 0.5 pF, comprising two right cylindrical cross capacitors each of 0.25 pF, has been constructed from Zerodur. The capacitor is intended to maintain the capacitance standard at times when the NML calculable cross capacitor is out of service.
