Abstract :
Red and blue light spectrums has apparent effect on plant growth; however, for ordinary on-the-market products, the spectra of fluorescent lamps lack these parts of light. Light intensities of these fluorescent lamp ballasts are not suitably regulated and long-term stabilized. This paper proposes a light source composed of cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs), red LEDs (R-LEDs) and blue LEDs (B-LEDs) eligible for large-sized seedling of Anoectochilus Formosanus Hayata. This hybrid light system is able to serve as a better light source for plant and to be more energy-economical.
