Abstract :
The effects of several practical tuning structures on resonant frequencies and slot couplings in combline filters are investigated using a rigorous mode matching model. As an application, an 8-pole combline elliptic function filter is designed, built, and tested. Experiments verify the accuracy and validate the analysis.
