Abstract
The frequency domain identification of a blood urea nitrogen (BUN) sensor using the techniques and signals of multifrequency binary testing (MBT) is described in the paper. Commencing from a brief but necessary outline of haemodialysis prescription in the human patient, the paper presents the mathematical model of the BUN sensor used in simulation tests. The paper concludes with the experimental results of the frequency response measurements of a BUN sensor, which are obtained from real-time, real component MBT of the BUN sensor.
