Abstract :
This paper describes the application of an expert system based fuzzy logic controller to a single axis underwater vehicle, the Aquacube, consisting of a steel exoskeleton frame and a single thruster centrally mounted. A differential pressure sensor is included to measure depth as is sufficient flotation material to give it slightly positive buoyancy.
