Abstract :
A precise system (standard) for reproducing a DC magnetic field of the extended geomagnetic range (10-110 /spl mu/T) is established. The uncertainty of the total magnetic field reproduction in SI units is 3/spl times/10/sup -7/ inside a sphere 10 cm in diameter with an rms deviation of 0.002 nT. The uncertainty of the magnetic field direction is 1 second of arc.
