Abstract :
Space division multiple access (SDMA) is a technique, which can be used to increase the performance as well as the capacity of mobile communication systems by exploiting the spatial separation between different users. Space-time block codes (STBC) can provide good performance through spatial transmit diversity. In this paper, we combine these two techniques and introduce a new structure for current GSM cellular systems.
