Abstract :
This paper considers the application of robust multivariable control, based on Hinfinity optimization, to the problem of gauge control in a tandem cold rolling mill. The work has been undertaken as part of a collaborative research project between CEGELEC Projects Ltd., Rugby, and the University of Leicester.
