Abstract :
New way of calculation the fingers slow-wave structures of a two-wire type, based on the theory of multiconductors´ lines and on the replacement of a real structure by an equivalent to it two-wire long line is offered. The offered method permits to calculate the dispersion characteristics not only one-row, but also of the two-row fingers structures. For the first time by calculation and on the basis of direct measurements the opportunity of an essential increase of electromagnetic waves´ deceleration in fingers combs, located in parallel one upon the other, is shown. Results of experimental researches of effect of fingers´ width and of the period of their arrangement on the value of deceleration are shown also.
