Abstract :
Introduces a frequency-domain adaptive algorithm based on the recursive least squares (RLS) concept and a sliding FFT and suggests a method of efficiently incrementing the hopping-index of a sliding FFT. The proposed algorithm increases the convergence speed and substantially reduces computational complexity, compared with existing frequency-domain adaptive algorithms, and performs excellently in ill-conditioned channel equalization
