Abstract :
Series arrays of several thousands of overdamped SINIS junctions have been fabricated for programmable voltage standards. The arrays can be operated with low microwave power, since the major part of the microwave power is generated by the junctions itself. The operation of the arrays and the formation of Shapiro steps is discussed.
