Abstract :
Decentralized adaptive control schemes are presented for a class of time-varying non-linear dynamic systems with disturbance attenuation using the principle of dominant subsystems (PDS). The paper describes the principle and applications of PDS for linear and nonlinear large scale dynamic systems with output feedback and disturbance attenuation respectively, and presents also the results of a simulation test on a two-machines power system with linearized and nonlinear model. Robust stability of the decentralized controllers is considered as well.
