Abstract
At present, industrial frequency heating technology is widely used to extract heavy oil which the content of glial asphalt, wax and freezing point are higher. Its heating effect is poor and it wastes electricity seriously. With the integrated application of eddy effect, skin effect and proximity effect, a novel heating system was developed. Both a dedicated multi-function cable and three-phase AC source whose voltage, frequency and power can be regulated were designed. The experimental results showed that the heating system has advantages such as high heating efficiency, low power consumption, and small pollution to the power grid, which can be used for practical production.
