Abstract
In this paper, a wide-band power divider utilized stripline to slotline transition is presented. The power divider uses two different transmission lines- stripline and slotline. The slotline was etched on the ground plane at an angle of 90 degree with the stripline. An improved open/ short end structures were employed to achieve the wide-band performance. The simulated results show that the proposed power divider exhibits a return loss better than 12dB, insertion loss less than 1.0dB, isolation loss better than 7dB, phase imbalance about 180°± 0.2° and amplitude imbalance about ±0.03dB across the band from 2-8GHz. The proposed device has a compact size with a dimension of 30mm×35mm.
