Abstract :
The ADDRESS European project aims to develop a comprehensive commercial and technical framework for the development of “Active Demand” and the market-based exploitation of its benefits. In ADDRESS, “Active Demand” (AD) means the active participation of domestic and small commercial consumers in the electricity markets and in the provision of services to the other electricity system participants. This paper gives an overview of methods, tools and international standards that have been used in the project in order to enable interoperability among participants in data exchanges. A model driven integration approach has been used and international standards have been leveraged. ADDRESS is the first European project that used IEC CIM information model to define semantic exchanges between ADDRESS actors.
