Abstract
A deterministic model simulation for radiative transfer process was implemented to analyze water depths, and different types of soils on the lake bottom. The model accounted for physical properties of the water, the Sun position, sensor viewing geometry, and atmospheric effect. The model simulations were evaluated by comparing results with airborne multispectral scanner data. Statistical analyses revealed relationships between scanner measurements and radiance estimations from the model in certain spectral regions. The results show that the model simulation provided reference for water resource study
