  • Abstract
    Software processes need to undergo reflection and improvement continuously in order to increase their ability to deal with the requirements and expectations of the stakeholders. An efficient process needs to be tailored and adapted for specific organization, project environment and context. This paper aims to demonstrate an approach for reflection and improvement of software process designed for a small-scale project. This paper reviews four software processes - namely, requirements management, risk management, decision making, and review processes - used in the project against software process standards, and suggests improvements by taking the surrounding environments into account. This paper examines each of the four software processes according to a rating guideline suggested in this paper, compares the activities of software process with desired activity, then suggests improvements to increase effectiveness of the software processes for a small-scale project.
