CIEMA: A configurable integrated enterprise model architecture

In current enterprise modeling field research, the model structure and modeling tools are generally limited to a specific modeling theory that is not flexible, so it is hard to meet the modeling requirements of different industries. This paper proposes a CIEMA (Configurable Integrated Enterprise Model Architecture), wherein we use a model configurable file that is independent from the business system to abstractly express model structure, thereby supporting the extensibility and configuration of different modeling methods. First, we propose a formal representation of CIEMA´s basic elements and construct CIEMA´s hierarchical structure; then, we use XML to design configurable file and its corresponding mapping method, thereby supporting the development of an executable system; finally, through the realization and application of the modeling platform to verify CIEMA´s extensibility, we achieve configurability and good performance.
