  • Abstract
    Diagnosis of various cardiac diseases can be done using the analysis of ECG signal. Various types of arrhythmia like Tachycardia, Bradycardia can be found using RR-interval; Hyperkalemia and Myocardial Ischemia can be found on examining the T-wave and Hypercalcaemia can be found on calculating QRS interval. Abnormality detection becomes an essential in a Telecardiac system. A Daubechies wavelet method is discussed in this paper to analyze the ECG signal. The analysis of ECG signal is performed in MATLAB environment and the output displays the RR interval, Heart rate, Bradycardia /Tachycardia/MI inverted condition. The MIT-BIH database is used for the validation of the proposed work.
