Title :
Thyristor converter simulation and analysis
Author_Institution :
Brookhaven Nat. Lab., Upton, NY, USA
Abstract :
The author presents a simulation of thyristor converters in a high-level language MATLAB. The simulation features nonlinearity, nonuniform firing, and the commutations. Some applications, such as a current regulation analysis, an analysis of the converter frequency characteristics, and an analysis of the power line disturbance effect for a thyristor converter magnet driver, are also outlined.<>
