Abstract :
Plug in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles can be used to minimize the total electricity cost of buildings when they are parked during the working hours. In this paper a new business model is proposed and, in particular, the design of a stochastic aggregated battery for vehicle to building applications is explained. The main function of this block is to manage an heterogeneous park of connected batteries, respecting all the individual constraints for each, and at the same time, offering to the building the closest possible approximation to the total power demand, at a minimum cost. This optimization is based on genetic algorithms. Preliminary results show that it is possible to share the energy storage capacity among all connected vehicles, allowing the module operator to obtain a markup.
