Abstract :
In this paper, the performance and capacity of an ultrawideband (UWB) communication system with multiple receive antennas are investigated. We consider pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) and pulse position modulation (PPM). It is shown that the communication distance and system performance are improved by employing multiple receive antennas.
