Abstract :
In order to approach the challenges in Smart Grid development, use cases and standards are seen as a means to determine requirements and to address interoperability issues. This contribution motivates the need for a tool to support the management of use cases and the development of standards based upon them. Based on that demands for Smart Grid use case development, an approach to standards-development using use cases is outlined. To support this, an architecture for a Use Case Management Tool and -Repository is introduced and a first prototype is presented. Finally our conclusions and an outlook on future work are presented.
