Abstract :
As the wireless communication networks are distributed in the wide areas and the use of portable terminals is getting popular, the mobile computing technologies are being developed rapidly. Moreover, in most electricity power corporations, the GIS (Geographic Information System) database system had been established so as to connect repair works with topological information. Unfortunately, it is not connected with distribution mobile repair works based on mobile computing. In this study, we have developed the system which can track the location of repair vehicles moving at all times so as to dispatch the vehicles to the failed place quickly. And this system had realized modernization of mobile repair works. The information about power failure receipt and the system constitution, information about relevant facility could be utilized outdoor.
