Abstract :
The operating principle and a systematic design procedure for an utility line interfaced high-frequency link photovoltaic power converter is presented in this paper. The system consists of a high-frequency resonant inverter, a rectifier and a line commutated inverter. LCC type commutation is used for the resonant inverter. All the necessary design equations for designing 1-0 and 3-0 systems are given. Experimental results obtained from a prototype unit are also included.
