Abstract :
We have performed measurements of frequency splittings of the different hyperfine components of the P(33) 6-3 transition of /sup 127/I/sub 2/ by beat frequency measurements using a laser diode emitting around 633 nm. The four principal hyperfine constants of the rovibrational level v"=6, J"=33 of the ground electronic state have been deduced.
