Abstract :
This paper proposes a new adaptation algorithm called fuzzy model reference self-tuning controller (FMRSTC). The proposed algorithm is designed to include a reference model, which is used to describe the desired performance to the adaptation mechanism. A comprehensive analysis and comparison between the proposed algorithm, the conventional self-tuning fuzzy controller (STFC) and fuzzy model reference learning control (FMRLC) are introduced. A simulation of the proposed scheme is carried out through indirect field oriented control.
