Abstract :
Difficulties were encountered using traditional reconnaissance to map the Silurian Battie formation, known as the "Mulong Tao" auriferous formation stretching from Kirghizstan, in the high, cool and wet western Tianshan mountains. The application of remote sensing imagery was a good method to help geological mapping in the region. A good result was achieved by performing fusion of TM6 with Band 5/1,7/2 by the HIS transformation algorithm
