Abstract :
In this work, the electromagnetic scattering from an arbitrary conducting target above the PM sea surface is studied by a hybrid method combining the finite element method (FEM) with the boundary integral equation (BIE). As the integral boundary can be set at anywhere with the arbitrary shape, the conformal truncated boundaries are built to reduce the computational region combining with the domain decomposition method (DDM). The strategy of hybrid FEM/BIE and the modeling method are presented with their validity evaluated by the method of moment (MoM). Properties of the bistatic scattering from composite model under different conditions are discussed in detail.
