  • Abstract
    A special fully automatic punch processing insulating bar materials for a transformer was developed in this paper. It also introduced the basic structure of the punch and discussed a friction model as well as its effect on a servo system. A control system based upon the fuzzy neural network PID was set up for the friction-driven system of a punch. Meanwhile, experiments were conducted to analyze the performance of the punch and experimental results proved that this kind of punch is characterized by stable running, high-precision operation, as well as excellently static and dynamic properties.
