Abstract :
We propose a method to design parameters of an outer-loop TPC mechanism. This mechanism is needed in a CDMA system to keep the frame error rate (FER) to the required value and produce an equal QoS for all users. We have also developed a testbed system for wideband-CDMA and implemented the outer-loop TPC mechanism. We report the performance of the outer-loop TPC as estimated from laboratory and field tests
