Abstract
Forestry insurance had an important role in reducing the risk of forestry management. The evolving history of forest tenure reform and forestry insurance in China are reviewed in this paper firstly. Then, the factors which affect the willingness to pay forestry insurance are analyzed on the base of the investigation of YiChun of Jiangxi with Logistic Model. The result of analyses indicates that the biggest risk in forestry management, householder´s educational level, the householder´s recognizer for the awareness of forest insurance and the family income are the key factors affecting the willingness to pay forestry Insurance. The counter-measurements are proposed to advance forestry insurance.
