Abstract :
Modern Service Industry (MSI) aims at providing each user with the convenient services via any access means at any time in heterogeneous networks. Recently mobility management in heterogeneous networks has become the emphasis and the challenge. But the existed researches related are all with the default of owing an ideal multi-mode terminal per user, which is not universal. For the users who own more than one signal-node/multi-node terminal, MSI should also provide them the opportunities to select the access network and terminal. Therefore a user-centric mobility management is necessary. In this paper, we propose a user/terminal associated register method and a network/terminal cooperative selection mechanism from the aspects of network performance, user preference, and service demand, to achieve the personal mobility management and satisfy the individual preference of terminals, and enhance the user experience.
