Abstract
Background noise is a major source of problems and quality degradation in speech. Adaptive noise cancellation is used to reduce this noise and so the adaptive filter is designed such as to minimize this noise effect. Minimization techniques like LMS, NLMS or RLS were considered under several conditions like sensitivity for language, text, gender and language. Certain performance parameters criteria were performed to design the suitable conditions for using the desired algorithm.
