Abstract :
This paper presents a new full-wave analysis in time domain of an active antenna composed of two strongly coupled oscillators. This analysis combines a rigorous electromagnetic (EM) simulator, based on the Finite Element Time Domain method (FETD), and the powerful SPICE software. A comparison between simulated and experimental results shows that the proposed simulation technique is well adapted to the study of such a complex device.
