Abstract :
The situation of energy consumption within a city especially by AC (air conditioning) systems is introduced in this paper. Due to the vast amount of energy consumption of AC systems, the reasonable design, optimal operation and efficient management of AC systems are inevitable and necessary to the whole city energy management. To achieve these objectives, the ideal AC systematic modeling, the establishment of optimal systematic pattern, the verification of systematic characteristics, practical approaches of fault diagnosis of AC systems should be taken as the premises and the most elementary works. AC commissioning is a theoretical system and a practical and efficient approach for AC systems including all the functions above referred to. The concept, theory, process of AC commissioning and the effect of AC commissioning which contribute to city energy management (CEM) are also introduced and presented in this paper.
