Abstract
A new simulation system is developed to consider the evacuation behavior in the underground mall during the disaster. So far, a lot of methods have been proposed to the simulation of evacuation process, whose models are based upon many and complex factors. For more accuracy, it is necessary to introduce new factors such as human psychological factors, visibility, and so on. However, when those models are applied to the real cases, some problems may arise on calculation time and accuracy. A new simulation model is proposed, which can express complex human behavior by a simple model that defines actions probabilistically by introducing artificial life technology
