Game Analysis of the Stability Structuring of Inter-Organizational Cooperation in Knowledge Chain

The opportunism in process of the knowledge chain´s inter-organizational cooperation may bring about conflicts and lead to instable operation of the knowledge chain. This paper constructs a game payoff matrix for the knowledge chain´s interorganizational cooperation and conflicts and analyzes the basic conditions for the inter-organizational cooperation. After comparing the differences between the two conditions-that cooperative benefit is larger than defection benefit and vice versa, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of the knowledge chain´s stable operation. Our research indicates that the stability of the knowledge chain´s operation has positive correlation with collaborative value-creation and expectation for a long-term cooperation and has negative correlation with opportunism benefit and knowledge spillover loss.
