Abstract :
The analytical structure of a two-input two-output fuzzy controller is proved to be the sum of two nonlinear proportional-integral (PI) controllers with gains continuously varying with process outputs. The fuzzy controller consists of the following components: (1) two-member input fuzzy sets with linear membership functions; (2) five-member output fuzzy sets with singleton membership functions; (3) 16 fuzzy control rules; (4) probabilistic AND fuzzy logic; and (5) the center-of-gravity defuzzification algorithm
