            Abstract : 
In this paper, we propose a correlation method for optimal user pairing in downlink Multi User-Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO). The method involves selection of the first and best user from all the K users, and then the second user, chosen to be orthogonal based on the correlation between two users. The MU-MIMO performance is optimized under a particular fairness criterion. The simulation results indicate that the proposed correlation method is better than the traditional user pairing method to improve the MU-MIMO performance.
