Abstract
This paper presents the current results of assessment of effects on measurements of urban geometry and texture at Orlanski´s microscale α at Cinisello Balsamo station, belonging to Climate Network, presented in EESMS 2011 papers [1] and [2]. Data analysis has been performed on available station measurements, compared to a control station representing unperturbed airflow in close proximity to the main station. Wind direction has been identified as an important proxy of urban dis-uniformity. Directional statistics have then been developed accordingly, and used on this specific data set.
