Abstract :
The present paper describes an approach for keyword- and concept-based search of relevant learning objects and delivery of them to learners. The paper also proposes to blend the keyword- and concept-based search with personalization to increase relevancy of delivered documents to the learners preferences. The relevancy of learning object to the learner request is defined as a weighted linear combination of three relevancy measures. The proposed approach is evaluated in order to demonstrate its effectiveness and find optimal weighting coefficients.
