  • Abstract
    This paper describes the problem that current interconnect architecture of the embedded system has encountered. Then a novel interconnect architecture to solve the problem called RapidIO is introduced. The implementation of RapidIO with field programmable gate array device is discussed. Simulation result shows that the proposed architecture brings higher data rate performance. The novel interconnect architecture can be used in embedded communication applications and B3G systems.
