It is very important for high-tech firms to develop effective technological entrepreneurship in a highly competitive global economy. Based on a case study of Lenovo, a Chinese high-tech firm, this paper identifies three patterns of technological entrepreneurship (technology importation, cooperative R&D, and in-house R&D) at its three strategic phases. We also analyze its entrepreneurial opportunities to implement these technological entrepreneurship patterns.
